The Good: Very accommodating for my service. Extremely courteous staff. Extremely fast service. Attentive staff. Food was packed with flavor. Drinks were great. Good portion size. Knowledgeable with food allergies Comfortable and cozy place. The Bad: Nothing I can even think of! The Ugly: Nada here I highly recommend this place when you are in Flagstaff. I have never been in a restaurant with such an attentive staff. We weren't don't ordering appetizers and the first thing we ordered was already coming to the table. Simply amazing! Definitely make it a point to visit when you are in the area. We will be there again on our way back from Durango.

After moving in the girls @nauflagstaff this weekend, we wanted to have a special final lunch together. We decided on Fat Olives @fat_olives near downtown Flagstaff and campus on route 66. Luckily there was no wait for a Sunday lunch. Usually this place is packed. There is parking in front of the restaurant and also in a large side lot. Pizza is the specialty at this restaurant and it is a VPN Certified pizzeria by Verace Pizza Napoletana. They adhere to strict age old principles in the art of making true Neapolitan Pizza. They only use soft grain "00" flour, fresh yeast, water and sea salt for the dough and only imported San Marzano Plum Tomatoes, mozzarella de bufala, extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil. All of this is helpfully explained on the menu and by our wonderful server!! Everything we ordered was fantastic! We ordered: - Cherry Smash Mocktail - Amarena cherries, fresh lemon, basil, soda, served over ice - YUMMM - Wood Fired Stracciatella Antipasto - Housemade mozzarella, sweet cream, ricotta, sea salt. Served with house crostini, EVOO, honey balsamic reduction, cracked pepper, Prosciutto di Parma - Burrata Antipasto - Fresh mozzarella with a creamy center drizzled with a honey balsamic reduction, Prosciutto di Parma, basil chiffonade, house crostini, calabrian chili oil - Kenai Pizza - White base, ricotta, house-made mozzarella, pecorino romano, house-smoked salmon, dill cream, sea salt, EVOO, red onions (What @guyfieri ate!!) *Add Arugula (like a creamy lox bagel pizza) - Margherita D.O.C. - San Marzano tomato D.O.P, fior di latte mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano, fresh basil, EVOO (nice basil flavor!) - Carnivore -San Marzano tomato D.O.P., mozz provolone blend, hand cut pepperoni, fennel sausage, smoked bacon, crumbled meatballs (Simply Delicious - Yes, tried every pizza!!) - Fat Olives Signature Lasagna - Ten hour ragu, ricotta, mozz provolone blend, Grana Padano, basil chiffonade Hubs mentioned in the evening that he could really tell this restaurant used the finest ingredients because he had no heartburn or digestion pain after eating here. I noticed that I felt great as well, unlike how I usually feel after eating pizza. Seating is available at the bar, table seating in two rooms, and additional bar seating at the wood fire oven to watch the dough for pies being tossed.

Fat Olives is a great spot for a quick and tasty meal! The service was fast, and the Margherita pizza was cooked perfectly and exactly what you would want from a wood-fired pie. We paired it with their Caesar salad, which was good, I just wish it had come out a little colder. We visited during happy hour and tried a margarita. While it was pretty basic, it was still a good value at just $5. Overall, a satisfying dining experience!

TL;DR: Get to Fat Olives as soon as you can. It's top tier pizza without any pretentious vibes, you can't make a bad choice with their menu and there are plenty of Gluten Free options! I have been to Flagstaff my fair share of times and the fact that this was my first trip to Fat Olives is downright criminal. My group started with the Burrata which was to die for and for just $4 you can get a gluten free bread option (it's just their GF pizza crust plain with spices, but it's delicious). Next to the pizza, they are serious about pizza. They have pies certified by the Italian government because they import the ingredients from Italy and cook everything in an Italian pizza oven. We went with the Belgio Dolce which was a selection by Guy Fieri when he visited. It is hard to explain how good this pizza is adorned with brussel sprouts and pistachios amongst a slew of other toppings this may sound a bit strange, but everything went so perfectly together! Pictured below is their regular crust version and the GF version. For dessert we finished with their gluten free flourless chocolate cake which was thick, decadent, and delicious. It was hearty but not too rich as some flourless chocolate cakes can be. We left full and happy, the service was great, the atmosphere was quaint and lovely, you can't go wrong with a pie from Fat Olives if you're in Flagstaff.

If you're looking for a great Italian meal, you should try this charming restaurant. From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff welcomes you warmly. They're happy to recommend dishes, and the food is fantastic with big portions, perfect for sharing if you don't want a huge meal. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting town. Give it a try!

Tried this restaurant on our trip to Arizona. We started off with meatballs and classic bruschetta. We then had Margherita and Belgio Dolce Pizzas. The food was super fresh, served hot and was delicious. Our server was super attentive, warm and polite. The ambiance is rustic. The restaurant was pretty busy during lunch hours. There are plenty of parking spots outside the restaurant. They even have fat bagel drive in next to the restaurant. I would highly recommend this place! Must try if you're traveling or a local.

Finally had an opportunity to check out Fat Olives for an early Saturday dinner. Diners beware: the happy hour is POPULAR, we had to wait about 20 min for a table at 4:30pm. The restaurant is large with amble booth, low-top, and bar seating. I joined a group of 6 and had no issues with the booth seating. Two pizzas of note: the Belgio Dolce and the Farmers (with added egg!). The Belgio Dolce pizza's claim to fame is that it is both award winning, and the icon Guy Fieri gave it a try. The honey drizzle was a standout and the meat selection paired nicely. The brussel sprouts were enjoyed by all- even by folks who typically avoid them! The Farmer pizza is a vegetarians dream with great toppings and an unexpected sweetness. Adding a cracked egg was the perfect addition. All pizzas enjoyed by the table had stand-out crusts- seriously so good! I look forward to coming here again both for the great menu and exceptional service.

Food was very good. We decided on the marmalade pizza, which had a somewhat sweet taste mixed with spicy oil . It was perfect ! The lemoncello old fashion for sure was different, but it was delicious. The service was superb, Gavin made sure we had the best service in Arizona!!
